Looking for Candle chimes

Post by paulrace »

A reader who has come across the Candle Chime photo archive (http://www.oldchristmastreelights.com/c ... UCTION.htm) writes:

I would like to know the price and how I can order
Heli Glockenspiel/Christmas Chimes (29 x 13.5 cm., base = 14 cm. dia.) ???

---------------------------------------

Thanks for getting in touch. I apologize, but the chimes shown are in a private collection and not for sale. We provided the photos for the use of other collectors. The Heli set was probably made in East Germany, but most sets now are made in Asia. Here's a very inexpensive one on Amazon as an example.

If you want to find a better one, you may have to shop collectibles on eBay. And then you run the risk that all the parts aren't in the box, so you'd better have return privileges. I'm sorry that I can't be more helpful, but I hope this gets you started off in the right direction.

Does any one else have a suggestion? Thanks.

Thanks, the "Swedish Chimes" made in Turkey may be the best solution for this reader. - Paul
