Seasonal Desktop Backgrounds, from Family Christmas Online^TM

Every so often I take a photo that looks good on folks' computers. In October, 2009, Shelia and I returned from a trip during which I took a bunch of photos that just "shout" autumn harvest. I decided to make my favorites available, so I started this page - with all of twenty minutes' forethought.

At any rate, if you click on the title photo, you'll see a view of the Atlantic from Nags' Head, North Carolina, taken just after sunrise in October, 2009. If you click on it, you'll get a big version suitable for use as a background any time of year.

Autumn Harvest Backgrounds

While in on Roanoke Island, North Carolina, in October, 2009, we stopped at a "farmer's market." I took several photos, but the one with the rows of pumpkins on skids was my favorite from that trip. A few days later, on our way back, we stopped at another "farmer's market" near Jamestown, Ohio, where I took the other two photos below. We bought pumpkins and things both places, so the pumpkin farmers benefitted from our visit also, in case you wondered. If you click on the graphic below, you should see a large version in your browser. If you like the big version and want to use it on your computer, right click on it, then and select the "Set to Desktop Background" option.
