Update for 2021 - An old scam has resurfaced in which scammers snag real people's e-mails and other information and try to sign them up to our newsletters. I have no idea why they do this, but it's starting again. And it results in some embarrassment on our part when we unintentionally spam strangers with newsletters they have no interest in.

For that reason, the comments field must contain specific information about your interest in our content. Generic comments like "Great stuff here; I'll check back soon" won't cut it.

I apologize if our signup procedures seem a little stringent, but you have no idea how complicated spammers and scammers can make things on our end otherwise.
