Well, I'm about 95% done with my Christmas decorating for 2016! Man, hours and hours of work every day! Can't wait to see it done. I'm trying to pick up a few new decorations this year. Found a cool Christmas lantern on Etsy that looks like one I had as a kid in the early 70's for a lousy $5! BOUGHT! LOL!

My only problem this year is that the second tree (the white tree with all blue lights) is causing me headaches. The intense deep blue LED lights I've used the last two years are just too blue - they turn the entire room into a giant, bright neon blueberry! It's just too overwhelming. I was hoping to replace them some cool ice-blue (blue/white) LEDs, but the price this year is prohibitive. Plus, those seem to be hard to find for some reason. I have some old regular blue lights with white cords, but they aren't enough to really make the tree look the way I want it. Not sure what to do about that. Hmmm.

Looks like a more icy blue that changes to a white/blue-ish white, and back again. But at $28 a set (and with only 70 lights a set I'd need 5 or 6 sets for my 7' tree), that's well over $100 just for lights. Wish I could afford them!
