Our article, Thanksgiving Then, and Then, and Now provides many links to historical thanksgiving resources. http://www.familychristmasonline.com/ot ... giving.htm A new section debunks the urban legends that resurface every year claiming that Thanksgiving is really a celebration of the European settlers' annihilation of native peoples. I don't question that the Europeans treated the native people's brutally and almost always unfairly.
