I have a Paramount Illuminated Musical Angel from my childhood. There is an article showing the angel and some info. The angel is in very good condition, but the music box is not working. It does light up. Is it possible to find out the price of the angel. If you know of other sources to find out, could you let me know? Thank you.

----------------Thanks for getting in touch. These don't come up very often, so it's hard to place a value. Here's an example of one on eBay that they're asking $50 for. She had it for sale for $50 before, but nobody bid on it. I don't know why should have listed it again for the same price. If they don't sell it, they may have to relist it at a lower price:

Unfortunately this only tells us that the price she's asking (plus $25 shipping) is too high for collectors. If you had an antique shop or the like, you might get close to that, but it would take some time, and in the meantime, you're paying for lights, heat, and rent, so you'd probably really be clearing only about $25 anyway.
Unless you really need the money, if it's, say, been in the family for a long time, you might want to focus more on finding it a good home, rather than spending several hours trying to get "top dollar for it." (Lots of folks spend hours trying to sell a single $20 item, which means they're making three dollars an hour or so, when you think about it.)
